Part<\/strong> stipulates the Heir Apparent as the person who has been chosen to be the Heir Apparent to the throne under <strong>Article 7<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\" translation-block\"><em><strong>Article 1(d)<\/strong> stipulates the Other Heirs to mean those persons who follow after the Heir Apparent and are eligible to take his place.<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\" translation-block\"><em><strong>Article 7(2)(e) of the Second Part<\/strong> empowers the Sovereign to appoint any member of the royal family, whether distant or near, as heir or heirs and to assign titles to them, such as Heir Presumptive, Bendahara, Temenggong or any other title which in former times existed.<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\" translation-block\"><em><strong>Article 3(3) of the First Part<\/strong> stipulates no descendant shall be eligible to be confirmed as Sovereign if he is confirmed to have some great and serious defect derogatory to the quality of a Sovereign, such as insanity, blindness, dumbness or possessing qualities that would not be permitted under Syarak laws to become a Sovereign.<\/em><\/p>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element  wpb_animate_when_almost_visible wpb_fadeInUp fadeInUp textJustify\" >\n\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t<p class=\" translation-block\"><strong>Article 7(1) of the First Part<\/strong> provides upon his accession to the throne, or as soon as conveniently possible, the Sovereign acting on the advice of the Council of the Royal Court shall choose and appoint from among his descendants an Heir Apparent to the throne.<\/p>\n<p class=\" translation-block\"><em><strong>Article 7(3)<\/strong> stipulates the Heir Apparent, so long as he holds such appointment, enjoy the title Tunku Mahkota (Crown Prince).<br><br><strong>Article 4(2)<\/strong> provides if the Heir Apparent is found by the Council of Supporters of the Country to be ineligible to be confirmed as Sovereign, the Council of Royal Court shall appoint from among the Other Heirs to be the Heir Apparent.<\/em><\/p>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\t\t<\/div> \n\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div> Prince on 23rd May 1891 at the age of 18 years old.<\/li>\n<li>Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim was appointed as Heir Apparent and Crown Prince on 2 November 1895 when he was one year old.<\/li>\n<li>Tunku Mahmood Iskandar Ibni Sultan Ismail was appointed Heir Apparent and Crown Prince on 8 May 1959 when Sultan Ismail ascended the throne.<\/li>\n<li>Tunku Ibrahim Ismail Ibni Sultan Iskandar was made Heir Apparent and Crown Prince on 12 May 1981 when Sultan Iskandar ascended the throne.<\/li>\n<li>Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim was appointed Heir Apparent and Crown Prince on 26
